- ISRO successfully launched its heaviest rocket LVM3 from Sriharikota for the sixth time.
- The rocket successfully placed 36 satellites of UK’s OneWeb Group company into their intended orbit.
- The launch took place from another launch pad at Sriharikota which is about 135 km from Chennai.
- Earlier there was a 24.5-hour countdown until the launch.
- This is ISRO’s second mission and the 18th for the OneWeb constellation following the SSLV/D2-EOS 07 mission in February.
