- President Smt. Draupadi Murmu recently presented the Lakshmipat Singhania-IIM Lucknow National Leadership Awards. On this occasion, he said that the rush to increase production and productivity has harmed humanity. Climate change and environmental disturbances are the result of that.
- Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first Indian Art, Architecture and Design Biennale 2023 at the Red Fort on December 8, 2023. This first Indian Art, Architecture and Design Biennale 2023 is being organized in line with the Prime Minister’s vision to develop and institutionalize a major global cultural initiative in the country.
- The Ministry of Culture, Government of India has recently decided to prepare mapping and documentation of all the villages under the Mera Gaon, Meri Dharohar (MGMD) programme. The National Mission on Cultural Mapping is run in coordination with the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts (IGNCA) under the Ministry of Culture.
- The National Manuscript Mission has documented 5.2 million manuscripts, conserved 90 million folios and digitized 3.30 crore manuscripts across the country since its inception in 2003 till September 2023. This information was given by Union Minister of Culture, Tourism and North Eastern Region Development Shri G. Kishan Reddy in Rajya Sabha today.
