What Is The Eligibility Criteria For NDA 2018, Exam?

National Defence Academy (NDA) is the national level entrance exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for the recruitment of students who is pursuing their career in defence forces like Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. NDA Exam is conducted twice time in a year in month of April and September.

NDA Exam Pattern 2018

Subjects
General Ability Questions – Maximum marks 600
Mathematics Questions – Maximum marks 300
SSB Test/Interview – Maximum marks 900

Total Marks – 1800

Eligibility Criteria for NDA

Age Limit:
NDA I: Candidates should have born between 2nd July 1998 to 1st July, 2002.
NDA II: Aspirants must have born between 2nd January 2000 to 1st July 2003
Unmarried candidates are eligible for this exam.

Qualification Criteria:
For Army Wing: Applicant should have passed 10+2 from a state education Board or a University.
For Naval and Air Force: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics subjects.

Nationality:
Applicant must be citizen of India,
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan,
Applicant those came from the Tibet to India should born before 1st January 1962.

Physical Strength:
Candidates should be physically or mentally fit as as per the guidance set by National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination

NDA Exam Syllabus

The NDA Syllabus is divided into two sections; Mathematics and General Ability test.
Paper 1: Mathematics paper conducts questions from Algebra, Analytical Geometry, Trigonometry, Integral Calculus, Statistics and Probability, Metrics and Determinants
Paper 2: General Ability Test contains questions from English- 200 Marks and General Awareness- 400 marks.

Make a proper study plan for your preparation.
Create a time table according to your study and divide it equally for all the subjects.
Purchase and collect all the best books and start your preparation.
Practice from earlier years solved papers; it will help you to know the exam pattern.
Take your class notes with you while studying.
